Greg Universe: Introduction

Gregory “Grey” Universe, who is father of Steven Universe and owner of It’s Wash. Greg was also romantic partner Rose Quartz who is no more. He struggled a lot financially most of his adulthood, although in the Drop Beat Dad, he was awarded with royalty check and he became millionaire after that.

Greg with Steven and Peral went on trip using some money which he won, and mended his relationship with Pearl which was strained for decades. Greg is very supportive father, he learned to have more faith in his son as he became more in volved with Crystal Gem, earlier he was concerned about Steven and his safety during the missions. Greg use to live in the van for many years, but eventually he shifted in the Beach house in, when Steven moves out and started his tour of finding himself in the world.

Appearance: Greg Universe

Greg Universe is looking like fat Middle Ages man, who has dark beige beard surrounding his mouth, he has a tan line on his shoulders and feet and bushy eyebrows. Greg has peachy-red skin color and dark brown hairs with a large bald spot on the top his head. In the whole original series, the movie and in the Rose Buds, his hair was till his waist, in the ending of Bluebird, Greg grabbed Eyeball’s chisel and cut his hart short, just to escape from Aquamarine’s grasp. 

He wore a tank top with long or short pants or jeans of gray color, in the entire first two seasons and more then half of the Season 3. He is occasionally seen wearing black t-shirt and green sweater. Foe footwears, he wears teal flip flops, th9ugh in generally he is seen bare foot or wear different kind of footwears. He was seen wearing white t-shirt and powdered blue jean, in the end of Steven Universe Future. His skin tone changes a lot some times it like red or fair -skinned like Steven. this happens due to sunburns.

Personality

Greg Universe is just like common people living simper lifestyle. he well known for his friendly nature and genuine behavior. Till now in life, he has held on to honest attitude in regards to his feelings as an individual. he seems to be positive and easy-going person. His famous lines are “If every porkchop were prefect, we wouldn’t have hot dogs”.

In the series he can be seen a bit immature sometimes, with watermelon, fooling around in the Watermelon Steven, he can be kind of messy as stated by Amethyst. He has made a lot of wrong and bad decisions in life, such as dropping college, faking injures to spend time with Steven, though he has always taken responsibility for it and said he will do anything to make up for those bad choices.

Even though he is not well aware about the situation in the life, Greg always gives the best advice based on his own experiences of his life. He is generally not slow in life, but Rose death has impacted him a lot, he was unwilling to let go of his past with Rose. Eventually he ends up giving up his past and getting rid of junks.
